All four price sites reversed — umbrella-only is now the cheaper route and the post says so. Side benefit: the buy path and the published 4.6★/953 finally sit on the SAME listing, which is what the rating rule wants. The Base spec keeps the two-listings shape, so the three-of-five split is unchanged.

The finding: “base” does TWO jobs on these listings — the STAND that holds the umbrella up and the BALLAST that stops it blowing over — and makers use the word for both, which is why listings that looked self-contradictory were not. Pebble Grey 12' x 12' Base Included is ABSENT from its own parent's 46-child map (B0GSZW7ZRG), the same signature as the retired B07SFLV5K2; seven other cantilever ASINs read the same day resolved to themselves, so it is the ASIN, not the method. THE SURVIVING BASE-INCLUDED 12' x 12' CHILDREN COST $799 AND $819 — both above this $450-750 division — so on Brad's call the card is now wired to B0DFH77THK (Mist Grey, 12' x 12', UMBRELLA ONLY, $549.99), which keeps the 12 ft canopy and keeps the pick inside its own division. Consequences, all carried on the card: it is no longer base-included, so the post's 'every one comes with a base' framing is corrected to four of five throughout; rating RE-SOURCED with the buy link 4.4★/67 → 4.6★/74 (a different pool, not accrual — 295 star-points against 340 on 7 more reviews); price ~$746 → ~$550, so it is still the priciest here but by ~$50 rather than half again; and the owner quote was REPLACED, because the Psychovertigo quote had been carried through two re-pointings on the recorded assumption that reviews pool family-wide, which this read DISPROVES (B0H2LPVX2P reads 5.0/1 under the same parent) and it does not appear on the new listing. New quote is verbatim on the exact 12' x 12' Umbrella Only variant. Cost recorded: the retired ASIN carried a 10% Creator Connections line and the new one carries none, though that 10% was already earning nothing on a dead ASIN.

(1) The Best Choice 12x12 was published as 'Single-top (no vent)'; its own bullets read 'WIND VENT: ... the vent promotes airflow' and its Model Name field reads '12x12ft 2-Tier', so it is a vented 2-tier canopy. Ratings re-read the same day: Best Choice 1,448 -> 1,471, Grand Patio Sunbrella 4.2/231 -> 4.1/235 (a rounding move, not a re-pool), PURPLE LEAF 11 ft prose corrected 945 -> 953 to match the data. ALL FIVE bases are pooled variant families reported as global ratings and only one carried a basis flag; all now do. The Best Choice 1,471 is the SAME pooled number as the 10x10 on the value post - one listing family, 53 SKUs, two cards.

Rating re-read signed-in: 4.4★/67, and now flagged as a POOLED family base - the listing family spans 6 sizes and several colourways, so that number is not a read of the 12 ft alone.
